MODEL + ACTOR + AGE POSITIVE ADVOCATE
Who says that grey hair is boring? As a commercial model, actor and age positive advocate, I believe that there is grace in aging naturally and being your authentic self. Life becomes richer as we grow older. I'm also convinced that finding the humour in life is worth a few laugh lines.
I was raised in a town in Northern Canada and celebrate my English/French/Mi'kmaq First Nations heritages with pride. Growing up surrounded by forests and lakes, I love being outdoors, regardless of the season. On weekends, I trade in my high heels for hiking boots or snowshoes — and sunscreen.
Lori started her modelling career in the early 1990's in Winnipeg, Canada before taking a 20 year hiatus to raise her family. At 45, she stepped back in front of the camera—this time as a commercial actor. Now, with more than 30 television commercials and print campaigns on her résumé, Lori is an established presence in the industry.
Frequently cast in commercials as the classic mom or hip mature woman, Lori brings elegance to every role she plays. Recent credits include CBC Gem’s “Lido TV” (TIFF 2022), Amazon’s “Switched at Death” and cult favourite “The Shid”.
Lori is an engaged member of the Silver Sisters community, where she advocates for authentic aging and believes that confidence is the key to aging with grace. As a military spouse and mother of two, Lori has earned every laugh line.
